Melissa was born and raised on Sullivan Street with; her mother, Verona, who passed when Melissa was 14 years old, her father, Jose Antonio, who still resides on Sullivan Street and is an active member of St. Anthony’s Church, and her older sister and only sibling, Ana, who works at St. Anthony’s Church.
