Obituary of William Blume

August 13, 2021

William was born on February 10th 1958 and passed away August 13th 2021 in Lower Manhattan, NYC. He passed away sadly due to cancer and cardiac arrest. He had four beautiful children that were all adopted, Jennings, Elizabeth, Jacob, and Calista.

William was one to give everything he had just to make others happy. William was an easy going and very understanding man that had several friends. William was very close with his youngest daughter Calista. He spoke about her everyday to everyone he knew. William was very proud of her, as well as all his children.
William will be very missed by the everyone especially people who were closest to him. His spirit will always live on because he always said he would never die. He knew he would be with us in spirit, always.

I love you so much and I am so very blessed to have gotten so close to you in the times we had together. You will always be remembered, loved, and cherished. I hope you are at rest and give my love to Aunt Linda and Sandy (Mom). Thank you for protecting me and watching over me. You gave everything to keep me happy even if it was your last penny and I will never be able to thank you enough.

There will be no funeral but a memorial held at Valley Forge National State Park, Pennsylvania on Sunday, August 29th at 2PM.

He was amazing and so concerned with making sure everyone around him was okay. No one has ever had a more profound effect on my life. I am lost without him. I hope he knows that.

Pop,
I am at a complete loss of words to hear about you not being with us anymore. This man had the biggest heart I have ever had the pleasure to meet in a person although he tried his hardest to make you think otherwise. I am in eternal debt to you pop for the love you showed me without a second thought. I tried to show you how much I appreciated you, your advice, your honesty, your concern, and your friendship. I am happy I did get to tell you how much I valued you as a man and every piece of advice you gave. Rarely do truly genuine people cross your path. The rarest and most valuable thing in this world is a true friend pop and I, I will be forever grateful for all the time I was lucky enough to have with you man. I love you, you know that. watch over me man and say hi to your ole' lady for me.

Love Alan d Litts
