Obituary of John Frederick Allen

Sadly, John Frederick Allen of Manhattan passed away peacefully on September 9th at Calvary Hospital. John's career in hospital and employee benefits included Montefiore Medical Center, New York University Medical Center, Irving Trust and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. John was an active and loyal alumnus of Hamilton College, he was co-president of the New York City alumni chapter and was known for his informative and entertaining High Line tours for Hamilton alumni. John was honored by Hamilton College with its prestigious Bell Ringer Award, presented each year to an outstanding alumnus. John is survived by his loving wife Beth Allen, twin brother James Victor Allen, sister-in-law Judith Allen, nephew Andrew Allen and niece Jessica Allen.
