Obituary of Francisca Healy

Francisca Healy passed away after a long struggle with her health on November 10, 2021. She was born on January 15, 1926, and was predeceased by her husband of nearly 70 years, Francis X. Healy last year; and her son, retired NYC Police Officer Francis Joseph Healy; and is survived by her beloved sons Michel Landron and Dennis Healy; two grandsons, Michael and Ryan Landron; nieces Kathleen DiAngelo, Mary Jane Murgolo; and a nephew Michael Murgolo. A long-time parishioner of St. Anthony's parish, she was a very popular, outgoing, empathetic, welcoming, and charismatic resident of Greenwich Village for more than 70 years, who loved to dance; chat with her scores of friends and acquaintances; cook for her extended family, and contribute her time and efforts to several charitable ventures and parish and ecumenical auxiliaries. She gave so much of herself to so many and is already sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The V Foundation; St. Jude's Hospital For Children, or any local health or spiritual charity.
