Obituary of Michael Clancy

31st January 1960 - 29th, July 2022
Michael passed away unexpectedly, in the presence of his family, at NYU after a brief illness. Michael was very much loved by his family in Ireland and the U.S. and by a multitude of great friends from all over the world. He will always be remembered as a kind, generous, and very talented man and a good and loyal friend. Born in Ireland, raised in Kenya and Canada, Michael moved to NYC when he was nineteen. He had a successful career as a Costume Designer who worked in movies and television on a wide variety of productions. He will be much missed and never ever forgotten. May he rest in peace.
