Genoveva "Genie" Diaz passed away on October 16, 2019, in New York City. Born in Ecuador
she was the beloved wife of Cecilio Diaz, devoted mother of Rosemary Lombard and devoted grandmother of Hunter Lombard. She is survived by sisters Carmen Crespo, Melida Merlo and brothers Jaimie and Luis Nogales and many loving nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by sisters Alida Cabrera, Yorya Nogales and brothers Manuel and Euripedes Nogales. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 19, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Memorial Mass at 10:45 on October 21st at the Church of the Epiphany
