Obituary of Marisa McGrody

The world lost one of it's very best.



It is with immense sadness and much heartbreak and deepest loss that I announce the passing of our greatest love, our best friend, our strongest family, our persevering warrior, our biggest cheerleader, our original care bear, our heart and soul, the genuine goodness that is and always will be Marisa McGrody.



Marisa was truly one of a kind, and I know that this will deeply deeply impact everyone who has ever known her and loved her. I know that if she wanted to say anything right now it would be this: I'm so sorry and I love you all so very much.



Let's all support one another in this time of devastating tragedy. We will all have to find our way to live for Marisa now because this was not her preferred time to go out. She left too soon and with too much love yet to give. It is our job to live out that legacy and that love.



Marisa is survived by her fiancé, Meg, and hundreds and hundreds of friends and family, near and far, who will continue on living in her spirit every day.
