Obituary of Marjorie R. Hirsch

Marjorie Hirsch departed this world on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. She was a woman who lived life on her own terms… An actor, artist, and arts manager, leader, traveler, dancer, writer and playwright, college teacher, lover of great food and wine, a marathon runner into her 50s, gym rat into her 90s, a recent podcast performer, a lover of Paris and an avid New Yorker.

All that knew her marveled at what she did and we loved her for what she was: that rare and precious person who lived life with joy, optimism, confidence, curiosity, and enthusiasm; a woman with keen insight a generous spirit and an open heart.

Our dear one, our great friend, muse, and mentor, thank you for sharing your life with us. We will always miss you. We carry you within us.

A memorial celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
