Obituary of Arthur Kriemelman

We mourn the passing of Arthur Louis Kriemelman, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Art graduated with honors from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in 1963. He went on to build a distinguished career in advertising and radio network sales, earning respect for his professionalism, integrity, and enduring relationships. In 1981, Art relocated his family to New York, and in 1989, he and his wife of 62 years, Sheila, made their home in SoHo. An accomplished equestrian, Art brought the same discipline and passion to his personal pursuits as he did to his professional life. Above all, Art was deeply devoted to his family. He is survived by his wife, Sheila; his daughter, Victoria; his son, Matthew; his granddaughter, Oriana; and his sister, Arlene Tintera. He will be remembered as a kind, noble, and steady presence, someone who approached life with curiosity, adventure and always a sense of humor.
