I had the distinct pleasure of being a friend and physician assistant of Dr.Vitale. He was approachable, kind, generous, comical, and very serious about his work. Most of our non medical conversations pertained to my vacations in Italy, his birthplace. There aren't enough words to describe the joy of being a friend of Dr.Aldo Vitale.
Being Haitian-born, my family is most appreciative of the generosity of the Vitale's to the people of Haiti.

R.I.P Dr.Aldo Vitale.

Aldo, ever since my parents met you and Dorothy in Panama in 1969, you were their special lifetime friends. He always fondly remembered your drive together from Panama to Guatemala. Michael was a little boy then. Throught the years, we all held you both as the nicest couple we ever met. Von Voyage, dear Aldo. May you and Dorothy be together again.
