Obituary of Theresa Luisi

September 12, 2024

Theresa Luisi (February 5, 1956 - September 12, 2024)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Theresa Luisi (68) on September 12, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with melanoma.

Theresa was the beloved wife of Andrew; the cherished daughter of Mildred; and the devoted mother of Francesca and Joseph (Genna). Theresa’s life was a testament to kindness, humor, love, and unwavering support for those around her. She was a friend to all who were fortunate enough to know her, leaving a legacy of compassion, levity, and warmth.

Theresa is now reunited in Heaven with her father, Joseph, and her grandparents Matilda and James, as well as countless aunts, uncles, cousins, dearly missed dogs, and lifelong friends who passed before her. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at Perazzo Funeral Home, located at 199 Bleeker Street, on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, Theresa humbly requested that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation—causes very close to her heart.

Theresa’s grace, strength, humor, and love will be missed by all, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in eternal peace.

My deepest sympathy to Theresa's family. I worked with her at Plaza Construction, she was a warm, friendly person I will never forget, she will be missed. One of the few to spread cheer with the CANDY BOWL.Sorry to hear of her loss.
