Obituary of Peter J. Bishop

Peter J Bishop, 66, of New York City and Auburn, NY, passed away on December 6th, 2023.

Peter was born on February 20th, 1957, to the late Paul and Kathleen Bishop.

He married the love of his life Julie C. Ross on May 29th, 2011.

Peter was employed at Alco in Auburn, various restaurants in California and West Palm Beach, Fla. as a chef’s assistant, and as a superintendent in New York City.

He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Ross Bishop, and sisters Mary Breeze, Elizabeth Pash, Martha Bishop, Maggie Bishop, Anne Bishop, Laura Delaney, Kelly Wejko, and brother Paul Bishop. Peter was a beloved Brother-In-Law, Uncle, and friend to many.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Kathy Stoughtenger, and mother-in-law Adelle Fagelman.

A service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY on Wednesday, December 13th, at 1 p.m. For more information call (212) 674-8055.
